Oktavian came to the SWITCH-On Skills project to support his placement at Tata Steel in Trostre. He was seeking to develop his knowledge and skills in a crucial area around how we can manufacture steel using different routes that rely less on carbon-intensive emissions. This is where our courses do their part to support this activity.

We provide access to free, online, and accredited courses to support the region’s move towards Net Zero. Participants can sign up to short and easy-access micro-credential courses, using these to build qualifications and gain important skills.

Delivered by Swansea University, in partnership with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council; this project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
